We are into our 6th day of sailing across the Atlantic to West Africa and one of our water makers has broke down. You might not know what a water maker is so let me educate you, it takes the salt water from the ocean and makes it fresh for us to use. One of them has now broken down which means we make less water which means we can use less water. We now as a community have to use half of what we normally use. Pray that we can conserve water and that our second water maker continues to work as we still have a week of sailing to go before we get to land.
